Blog #5 - Completed in preparation for our LAST WEEK! 

I am grateful for the opportunity of doing my internship at Brewer Phillips. A cool experience this summer that I am grateful for is having the opportunity to experience what it is like being a Cosmetologist. I saw how a stylist really needs to connect with their client, so they understand what their client wants and I learn some skills you need to really love this career. Also, it did really help me realize if I do want to be a stylist. One good thing I learned in class is I learned how to use more my GMail. Also, I learned about the Work Readiness Skills, that I didn't even know existed! Now, that I learned what the Work Readiness Skills are that is one thing that's makes me different this summer because from now on I am going to try to put these skills in practice at any job. Although, It was a little hard for me to keep on with the tasks, I am glad I made it through!

  • We used Waybook to learn about my Strengths, Values, Personality, Biology, and Passion. I think Way book was not that incorrect on some things it said and I actually got to learn more a little more about me.
